Parkwood PW-320M solid wood guitar

This is a fine example of a classy, no frills "000" style acoustic. It features all solid hardwoods including a solid spruce top. Every detail of this guitar is awesome down to the hardwood bridge and end pins. There are a few dings here and there because of the soft top combined with a pretty thin finish. The satin top has a little "glossing" from where I've been playing it as well. These guitars originally cost $600 when they were new. The quality is, again, top notch. TOP - Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis) Sitka Spruce comes from the Pacific northwest and today is the most commonly used wood for guitar tops. Sitka is a bit stronger and stiffer than other spruces. Its strength and toughness make it well suited for steel string guitars. BACK & SIDES - Mahogany (Khaya ivorensis) Mahogany is softer and lighter than Rosewood. Generally, Mahogany is warmer and has more low end, providing a strong, thumping bass with an emphasis on clear, bright, airy, trebles.
