Description

The wood frame is in pretty good shape, some of the finish is coming off however. There is also what appears to be a old tape mark, and a couple stains on the top. I tried to show all the flaws as best as I could in the photos. There is one small mark on the glass, but no chips or cracks in the glass. And the back seems to have gotten some water damage at some point. The ship, and the inside, looks in really great condition. Roughly 41 in. wide, 28 1/2 in. tall, and 4 1/2 in. thick. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks. The Flying Cloud was an American clipper ship, renowned for setting a world record for the fastest passage from New York to San Francisco in 1854, a record that stood for over 100 years. The ship was designed by the notable marine architect Donald McKay.
