1999 Mercedes-Benz M-Class

The situation. Someone. Stole the key to it. IT RUNS PERFECTLY. I since have gotten a key and ignition lock cylinder from another ML and bought 2 blank chips that goes in the key. One for backup. So now just need to get the key chip programmed . Only thing it NEEDS is a radiator bc it has a slow leak where you have to throw a gallons in it once a week. They’re cheap on Amazon, less than $100, and a oil change. Doesnt need obviously but if you want AC it’ll need a blower motor and blower motor resistor or the air control module. Not entirely sure in regards to the blower motor stopping. The ac compressor cycles as it should if you turn it on which if I’m not. Mistake indicates it’s working as should and if so then may it’s the blend door or the air control module as to why it won’t blow cold. Best bet on on the lower motor an d resistor is LKQ. Otherwise Amazon is good. Parts are not expensive don’t worry. If you find something that is expensive by chance, cross reference the part with Chrysler bc Chrysler and Mercedes merged in the mid 90s, so it has a lot of Chrysler parts. Like the ac compressor is the same one one a 2006 crossfire. $125 as opposed to $450 for a ac compressor for a ML320 Mercedes. Use the ol noggin. Sunroof will vent but no slide back for some reason. Always has, and I’ve replaced everything typical of maintenance like front pads, coil packs, spark cables, alternator, etc. I’ve got a working key, just need if programmed but they charge a lot, or go grab the ecu and key out of one and it’ll work without a doubt. Also have green clean and clear title in my name with me. Selling simply for the parts for my truck, and to get a house.
