Originally purchased for $3500. Twin loft with desk w/ drawers, dresser, shelves, and additional dresser. Used bed for about two years then moved to bigger apartment and purchased my two kids their own bedroom sets. The bedroom set is made out of Canadian Pine Wood so it's stiff sturdy and resistant to shock. It's solid wood, so it's super strong and extremely difficult to break. After the first year of use, I redecorated my kids room. I didn't like the color of the bed so much, so I sanded and stripped away the stain, leaving the natural beautiful white pine. ( Previous color was similar to the floor in the picture). Then I coated the bed in a clear satin polyurethane, to keep the woods natural beautiful color. The project took over 200 hours to sand every surface, nook and cranny to later give it three coats of polyurethane and then to sand and polish. Great bed, couldn't just throw it out. This color is beautiful and unique.
