Base handcrafted of reclaimed pine that has been carefully hand-selected, planed and sanded. Multistep finishing process darkens the top, lending it the appealing look of age. Metal top secured by prominent rivets along the edge. Zinc-finished top protected by an enduring clear coat Tripod trestle braced by 3 arching brackets at both top and bottom. Supports connected by a transverse plank stretcher. Slightly elevated feet raise support a bit above the floor. Unfinished base has the patina of reclaimed wood, with nicks, imperfections and nail marks that reveal its provenance.
