I am reluctantly putting my 2004 BMW R1100S twin spark up for sale. If you know this bike, you know how exceptional and rare it is, and also how it is becoming increasingly collectible. This may be a nearly 20-year-old motorcycle, but it has modern safety and comfort conveniences like ABS and heated grips. It even has a single-sided swing-arm for that extra modern appearance. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Improvements include: Rick Mayer seat Coveted Laser exhaust system and chip Stebel Nautilus horn (at 139db, you WILL be heard when you use the horn) LED flashing brake light Telelever fork and Paralever rear suspension, minimizing chassis pitch motion Dual front rotors with Brembo four-piston calipers and a single disc rear handle with ABS. PIAA halogen front fork lights for added lighting and safety Raised grips for a slightly more upright seating position Dark windscreen, though I have the original clear one to give the buyer New fuel pump New Michelin Pilot tires New Odyssey battery New filter and oil change Full bike stand (better than the kickstand, which this bike also has) Tool kit under the seat Everything works as it should. The flat-twin boxer engine has tons of personality and a great sound through the Laser exhaust. Fires right up and is ready to ride home. It rides extremely well and with its sport touring setup, you can easily do several hundred miles on this bike in comfort. I have a folder full of records to give the buyer. Why sell? I’m just not riding nearly as much as I used to. The previous owner put on the first 30K miles. I’ve put on 6,800 miles in the last 10 years. The current mileage is about 36,800.
