Denon 5805 Receiver (The BEAST)

Iconic Denon 5805 A/V receiver. This has been known by many as the King of the receivers for its power reserve, build quality and versatility. This unit has 10 high current channels rated at 170 watts each and can be configured for 2 channel stereo listening and all the way up to 9 channel surround with 3 available zones for powering different rooms or outdoor systems. It truly is an all in one control center for an entire home theater setup and looks/sounds great while doing it. The video hookups include everything from composite for older products up to HDMI v.1. The HDMI is untested on this unit so I can’t guarantee functionality. This Denon is still fully compatible with newer systems by running the video processing through your tv and routing the audio into the receiver, allowing you to take advantage of the monster amp section. You’ll have more audio inputs then you know what to do with ( if there’s such a thing)😊 It has numerous analog inputs as well as phono and multiple digital inputs which are fully customizable. This model is THX2 certified and video processing includes THX-ex, Dolby Digital EX, DTS and Pro Logic. High quality Burr Brown D/A and A/D converters as well as 32 bit processing. It’s fast and powerful especially for its age. Has direct and pure direct mode for the purest listening experience and HDCD decoding. This truly is a masterpiece of a receiver and caused waves when it was released for its power and quality and you can still experience it today making it the heart of your modern home theater with a little help from a smart tv. Comes with original blue back light dual touch screen remote. Come check it out you won’t be disappointed. Has been cleaned, inspected and tested fully functional. Cosmetically in great condition minus a couple swirl marks on the front panel screen, but it doesn’t interfere at all with the display. Price is $800.
