We bought an old 2009 Mercury SUV. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to vehicles. Prior to buying I took the vehicle to my personal mechanic for a full inspection. This is a used dealership and I bought a car several years old. I absolutely loved how honest management was during my purchase. Thank you so much!

I had called and scheduled an appointment to come look at a vehicle and when I showed up the next week they were closed. Apparently they had been having technical issues with their systems all week and into the weekend. So they literally had DAYS to make one simple phone call to let me know they were having issues and have me reschedule to look at the car. I do not currently own a vehicle so I commuted 3 hours from the coast via buses by myself. I had been prepared to purchase the car and drive it home that day. Instead I show up and get stranded at some random business on the side of a highway in a city I don’t know with no internet signal. Couldn’t call an uber to get back into downtown even if I wanted. The staff working there were completely apathetic and basically didn’t care that I was a young woman stuck in the middle of nowhere. The lady working there that day that I had spoken on the phone with the previous week kept telling me it was my fault, why didn’t I have a ride, etc.  She even straight lied to my face saying she had told me they were having issues when she had been on the phone with me which she did not. She even asked during the phone call if I was available the next day to come look at the car. She tried saying it was “a simple communication issue” and I told here that miscommunication just stranded me 3 hours from home and I literally didn’t know where I was. It was my first time ever going to a dealership/trying to a buy a car outside of private selling and I don’t have family or anything to give me rides anywhere hence why I was car shopping and took buses. It wasn’t until I got my mum on the phone that the lady eventually backtracked and offered me a ride back into downtown. She hops into one of their cars for sale and it took a couple times for the engine to even turn over…needless to say both the staff and the cars at this dealership are low quality and you shouldn’t waste your time here like they wasted mine. My situation could’ve turned very dangerous very quickly and not a single person there cared. The only reason I even went to that dealership was cause the car was listed on cargurus and looked like a good deal on paper.
