This is Natural Mexican Orange Calcite. It has a shiny appearance and is smooth to the touch but that's how this calcite is and it has not been polished. There are some white & black lines in the natural pattern, & this is a natural occurrence. Most likely it is Calcite, but some elements during formation changed it to those colors. This piece is also unique as it can be standing upright with the longer side going up and down, or you can sit it on its side and it will display wider instead of taller, however either way you go the piece is wide and heavy and wherever you put it, it’s not going anywhere! It looks beautiful from any direction.
