Crossposted. fcfs please. *** I will not drive 30 minutes to meet to sell something for $10, as that doesn't make economic sense. I will not hold something for you for a week. If you want to make an offer below the asking price... Great! Please do so before we plan to meet. If we meet and then you decide to "haggle", the answer will be "NO". Even if I would have said "YES" had you asked me before we met, my answer -at a meet up- will be "NO". If you change your mind, kindly let me know. We are all adults and I realize things come up and minds change. I will happily just move on to the next person interested. Not responding and not showing up is rude and inconsiderate. Lastly, please don't ask me to reduce my price because you live too far from me and "it's a long drive". You are basically asking me to pay for your gas for you to drive to buy something that you want. Personally, I don't search for anything I may be looking for outside of a 10 mile radius from my home. I'd have no desire to drive an hour to purchase anything; but if there were something I needed -for a great price -that I couldn't find anywhere else, I'd happily travel for it (which should be my decision and not the seller's issue).
