This is a pretty nice survivor from 1983. I’ve had it several years but just recently got it running. Clear title in hand. Clear vin (see pics). Under 15,000 miles which is super low miles for the year. 381 pounds so not too heavy. Seat height is about 30” at the bottom of the saddle. Work recently done: Carb was fully rebuilt.. disassembled and all passageways cleaned with carb cleaner, a fine wire where possible and compressed air. Jets cleaned the same way. Replaced the large rubber carb slide diaphragms and smaller rubber air-cut diaphragms as well as carb bowl gaskets and jet holder gaskets and o-rings. The needle seats inside the carb were removed and replaced as well as new needle valves installed and the floats adjusted. Carb works perfect now and doesn’t leak any (like it did when I got it). Oil and oil filter changed. New starter relay. Fuel pump rebuilt. New fuel petcock with adapter plate, new fuel line, extra fuel shutoff and fuel filter installed. Lights, brake lights and turn signals all work. Inside the tank is pretty clean. Gear oil at rear wheel full and clean. Horn needs a relay wired in for the horn to work ($10).. haven’t gotten to that yet. Needs a rear tire. The bike starts easy, idles good and revs and rides good. Pretty quick for a 500 and fun to ride. I’ve only ridden it around the neighborhood a handful of times to make sure it runs ok. Serious inquiry only. May be up for a trade but rather have cash.
