Old soul, new manners. This Squier Jazz Bass V has a few miles on the odometer, but I just gave it the spa day of its life and now it plays like it wants your gig money. Sunburst body with a black guard she's looking like a hot cougar in lingerie, she's has lived a little but has plenty of love to give lol. Neck is straight, truss rod is responsive, and everything works. I went full obsessive with the setup. Frets polished to a mirror so slides feel slick and bends do not chatter. Action brought down to that sweet spot where it glides without buzzing. Intonation set across all five so the low B sits right instead of sounding like a loose tire. Hardware cleaned, fingerboard and body waxed and buffed, everything tightened and behaving. The result is a bass that feels far fancier than its badge and punches way above its price. It sits in a mix like a grown up and the J pickups give you that mid cut and snap that engineers love. Condition I'd say it's 8/10 this was a working instrument, not a wall ornament. Nothing structural, nothing dramatic, just character. Because of the small marks I am discounting it huge. 300 bucks takes it! People ask for a lot more when it comes to 5 strings.
