Description
This is a 1973 Princeton reverb that has been “blackfaced“ 1965 specs. this term is a reference to the black colored face plate on mid 1960s Fender amplifiers. Prior to this they had a brown colored faceplate and then afterwards the silver faceplate. that is the reason for the use of this term in the title. The circuit has been completely serviced is ready to gig or for use in the studio. for use in the studio. The transformers on the amplifier are all original. The other components date to 1973. The cabinet seems to be later. A very nice Weber speaker has been installed. There is a foot switch. No expense was spared to make this amp as great sounding as it can be. A more recent hand wired reissue will cost you more than this. Here you get a vintage hand wired circuit, which sounds better than the re-issue and more affordable than an actual black face from the mid-1960s.
