Information taken from “Medals of Asia”.. The Overseas Chinese Loyalty and Patriotism Medal is known in Chinese as 忠貞愛國僑獎章 (Zhōngzhēn àiguó qiáo jiǎng zhāng). This translates to "Loyalty and Patriotism Overseas Chinese Award Medal". The medal was awarded by the Republic of China (Taiwan) to overseas Chinese citizens who demonstrated loyalty and patriotism to the nation A (甲) class medal. Silver, gilt, enamel. Size 62.5mm Front: 忠貞愛國 Loyalty and Patriotism In the center Photogravure portrait of Chiang Kai-shek Back: 僑獎章 109 Overseas Chinese Award of A Class No 109 This medal is rare and authentic. It was awarded to my late grandfather.
