The sound is clear, crisp, rich, and full. This system is powerful enough to blow the roof off of any room. The bass is extremely heavy but it can be adjusted to sound a lot more subtle via the remote, alongside the treble/front/rear speakers.Manufacturers do not make speaker systems like these anymore due to the high costs associated with premium parts and high quality construction, including Creative, as this system has been discontinued. Similar systems now have lower quality construction and sound. It is bittersweet parting with this system that has served me so well for a number of years but I'm constantly moving around and I can no longer keep around a system that isn't portable. This system is in perfect working condition and sounds even better than when I first purchased them. You can try them out before purchase and I can guarantee you will be impressed. The satellite speakers can be mounted to the wall around a room to fully immerse in the surround sound experience or can be setup with the included individual desk stands for an equally immersive experience.
