Description
First of all, ALL posted photos are mine ( copyright) and I am not allowing to use them without my permission because there's no current photos exist of that extremely rare Porcelain Figurine. I am offering really one of a kind ( if there are another one exist they are in private collections) Tall Florence Porcelain Geisha Figurine hand sculpted in 1958. She is listed as Haru in Florence catalogue. Opportunity to own piece of local history noone else has! She is simply stunning. Florence Porcelain was a company located in Pasadena in 1940s -1960s and produced highly Collectible porcelain figurines. Mrs Florence Ward was the designer of figurines. Geisha Haru stands 13H, 1.2 pounds. She was made by delicate "slip-lace" technique and has 24 Karat Gold accents. She is the most beautiful among all Florence figurines. Her hand painted face is exquisite. She is wearing elaborate hair style with delicate sculpted flowers and beautiful kimono with gorgeous flowers. Highest quality glazed porcelain. Florence stamp o the bottom. Unfortunately she has some damage. The right hand where she supposed to hold a scroll is half broken and she is missing 3 ingers on left hand.
