Russo Glass View 3GVT Wood stove

Beautiful and unique Russo Glass View 3GVT Woodstove New gaskets and paint. Stove has worked great for years. Side loading up to 24" logs. In great shape. Includes some pipe. Pictures shown are without glass and door closed. WITH glass and metal door open for viewing pleasure, and all sides and back. Russo Manufacturing Corp. was founded by Richard Russo, a metal fabricator, in Massachusetts during the late 1970s. Their robust stoves and inserts were recognized by their large viewing window. The large capacity heat exchange system in these stoves provided homes with substantial convection heat. That was one of the first Russos - back then a decent fire view was rare because the ceramic glass was not yet out in the market in bulk. Also, glass got very dirty. Russo solved it by having a large tempered piece a distance from the fire AND having a steel door which could be opened and closed behind it. When you used the stove for long burns, etc you closed the door. When you opened the door, a large amount of air could come in across the glass and keep it clean.
