The reel is a shimano sahara 2500 in good condition and is spooled with 10lb j braid grand. the rod is a daiawa crossfire 7” medium heavy and is rated to 8-17 lbs. only issue with the rod is the tip and one guide are missing the ceramic inserts other then that the rod has never been used
