Description

‼️‼️‼️SCAM!! BEWARE‼️‼️‼️ My boyfriend and I were in contact with this seller to buy this “perfect condition” tent trailer. We drove all the way from Vancouver wa after speaking to her on the phone multiple times. She swore that there were no damages and the trailer was in pristine condition. So we made the drive, because it was a killer deal! Or so we thought. Upon arrival, (to a crappy a ran down house) we could immediately tell it was going to be bad. She wasn’t there when we got there. Her daughter let us go inside the trailer and check it out. At first look, everything looks SO clean. As we started to inspect outside and around the trailer, we noticed MAJOR frame damage. The back king bed was slanted down. Like someone had neglected to put the support bars up before climbing into the bed and it just warped the tracks and frame. The tent cover had a massive tear in it. The turn signal light was broken. The door wasn’t aligned on the track (her words when she showed us). She had the entire thing propped up by multiple concrete squares and bricks to “keep it level”. Which isn’t necessary with a pristine condition trailer. THEN, the major damage was when we went back inside, and we were looking at the king bed that was at the front of the trailer, the nightstand was sinking down. So we looked more into the frame on the inside AND outside. We discovered that there was a water leak from the outside. And there were MASSIVE amounts of rot. The rot was so bad that the entire front end of the trailer would need to be replaced. We opened the compartment in the front and there was mold covering the inside. Noticed there was duct tape on the corners of the frame. When we brought all of this to her attention and explained what the issues were, she acted like she had no idea. Claimed she never even opened that compartment before and knew about the mold. We left, mad because we wasted a total of 5 hours in drive time and gas because she swore it was in perfect condition. When we noticed she reposted the ad for less money, but didn’t list the issues it truly has, we decided to write a warning ad. After reaching out to her letting her know it was wrong to waste people’s time, she told us that we were lying and blocked us. Pictures provided for proof‼️ So unless you want to waste time, gas, and money to go, I’d just pass on this ad.
