EVH FRANKENTELE!

Meet the Frankentele. A Fender Telecaster take on Eddie's Frankenstrat. This is a hot mess you gotta love if your a top 'Halen fan. I acquired this guitar not knowing much about its history or creator but this is a very fun to play axe. It's not perfect by any means much like Eddie's real put together deal but this thing plays pretty top notch and is loaded with a Dragonfire Alnico 5 pickup which is pretty hot and open sounding. Not sure much about the neck pickup but who's gonna really rock that with some "Hot For Teacher" anyway. The body looks like it might have been once blue and unsure if that part is an actual Fender but it is very heavy and solid. The design is very much taped on and had a nice tribute sticker to EVH. It has an actual MIM Fender neck but the body is likely older (the fact that the neck has a 2022 serial and the body looks old enough that it could have been used the record the actual "1984" album makes it possibly questionable). The only major thing worth noting is the headstock (which has locking tuners by the way) has a couple cracks pertruding from the tuners outward but I have had this for almost 2 years and has never gotten worse or have been any issue and was that way when I got it (traded an Ibanez for it) and didn't notice it at the time. Other than that, the neck is perfect and like brand new. I just can't ask for much more because I don't know much the guitars history in a whole but I can say it plays very well and has a nice sounding magnet. This is not an axe to buy if you wanted a newish case queen no one has ever played, this is an axe you buy because of its cool appeal and you're love for EVH and Teles. Asking $300 or possible trades. Thanks for looking.
