Description

Making guitars great again. This beautiful Dean Vendetta XM in a natural satin finish (nicknamed Mr. Frownie, see pics) has been refurbished and upgraded:    Seymour Duncan TB6 Distortion Bridge Trembucker ($100 value)    New electronics & wiring with full-sized Alpha pots from StewMac   New orange-drop capacitor (StewMac) on the tone pot replacing the cheap green one    New output jack    Frets leveled, dressed and polished    Several fretboard divots behind frets 1/2/3 filled and sanded flush    Fretboard restained New tuning machines This guitar came to me with a large chip and a gash on the underside which exposed the poplar body.  These have been filled with tinted epoxy and/or CA glue.  Although not perfectly color-matched, they are totally inconspicuous unless you flip the guitar over.  The electronics were a nonfunctioning mess, so I replaced it all with better components.  It's very light compared to your monster Les Paul. After a whole lotta work, this thing is a shredder with surprising sustain, a fast neck and low action. This guitar is great again! Thanks for looking.
