Auto Nation was THE BEST dealership I’ve been to. Before purchasing a car I’ve been to 8 dealerships that all were very shady. At auto nation I didn’t feel this way one bit. Joe helped me patiently find a car that I liked. Shane from the Subaru dealership in Golden, helped me afterwords with some follow up services. Highly recommend buying from them and getting a warranty as well.

I’m a 20 year customer of AutoNation Subaru West with 3 vehicles purchased there. I am always treated like a valued customer by the service staff and I have full confidence the work will be done correctly. If you drive a Subaru check them out for quality service. Yes, service at any dealership can be more expensive than independent shops. But over time I have found this dealership to be a better value than all other automotive services I have used, including dealerships for other car brands I have owned.

I am really disappointed with their business model. We had to take our car in for a standard 30,000 mile checkup, which was quoted as $800. They made us feel as though we HAD to get all of these services as part of our lease, which was not true. In fact, I even called the associate who leased my car and confirmed there are no requirements for a 30k mile checkup other than standard oil, tire rotation, and filters. Since this is a Subaru dealer, we trust what they say. Making it seem as though we have to get something done, when in fact it’s elective, is simply shady. Thankfully when we asked, we were able to stop one service which saved us $233 bringing the total down to $567. Of course at that point they already did a bunch of the other elective services which they charged us for- understandable as they were already completed, but they should have never made it seem required in the first place.
I just wish businesses were more honest in practice. That would make me a lifelong customer. On to the next place!
