Description

Hussar, a type of light cavalry soldier, in a historical uniform in beautiful gold frame. Hussars originated in 15th and 16th-century Hungary and were later adopted by many European armies as light cavalry. The uniform is characterized by a tight-fitting, braided jacket called a dolman and a fur-lined jacket called a pelisse, which was often worn slung over one shoulder.
