Ok guys , here's a cream puff for you. Everything has been replaced or rebuilt on this engine. It's a 99% complete 1964 YN block 164ci 110. I bought this engine from an elderly man in Santa Monica Ca who was a corvair enthusiast in the past. He told me that he had the engine built by a reputable engine builder in Santa Monica back in the 90s. It was completely rebuilt from the ground up. The only thing I had to find was a generator and other miscellaneous things. It was only fired to break-in the cam. I have boxes for most of the new parts installed . I bought it to put into a project but ended up going a different direction. It runs great. Fired it up on the stand. I'll post a video of it running later. All parts are high quality . Heres a list of things you might like to know: -All new felpro complete gasket/seal set installed -ARP studs Heads: - Fully rebuilt with dual valve springs, new valves , tappets , valve guides , deep seats , - new pushrods , rockers , pushrod tubes - Viton pushrod tubes seals Internals: - planed/rebalance crank - new flat face pistons - chromoly rings - rods - honed jugs (.30 over I was told) - copper head gaskets -new broke-in cam (unknown) - new main bearings - rear and front seals - high volume oil pump Ignition: - fully rebuilt 1110269 distributor - NEW Allison XR700 electronic ignition system - NEW Allison ignition high performance coil - New Sure Power fuel pump (the good mechanical fuel pumps from back in the day lol) - Champion L87YC sparkplugs - New blower bearing with chrome pulley - New belt - New chrome lightweight crank pulley - Rebuilt Delco Remy Generator - complete clutch resurfaced flywheel - new clutch disk - rebuilt starter -aluminum finned oil pan - All cylinders have 160-170lb compression on all cylinder s - Oil pressure is 35lbs just turning it over. Only thing missing is the air filter gaskets , passenger side air filter bracket , generator outer mount hardware (I have the mount) and a few small things.
