Description

I have a GE washer model GTW465ASN1WW for sale for parts or repair. It works. However, in attempt to give it a thorough cleaning due to a mildew like smell that has accumulated over time, the agitator bolt head snapped off while attempting to remove the agitator to clean underneath. I’ve made several attempts to get it out and have just given up at this point. The options for repair seem to be the following: Get the stuck bolt out of the transmission spindle (shown in pic) Replace the transmission (the only way to replace the spindle. Place the agitator back in the spindle and epoxy or something similar to keep the agitator down since it doesn’t have a bolt to do so. Use as parts since the above is the only thing wrong with it.
