Collectible, vintage porcelain dishes great valentine's day gift for the collector in your family.. or Mother'sday gift Porsgrund Porcelain Fjellflora Mountain Flower Series Dagny Tande Lid China Trio Porsgrund(s) (Porselaensfabrik AS) china from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The Telemark county factory was founded in 1885 by Johan Jeremiassen and continues today to produce Norway's finest feldspar porcelain. This PAIR was produced as part of Porgrund's "Fjellflora" / "Mountain Flower Series" which was decorated with botanical illustrations from famed Norwegian artist, Dagny Tande Lid. The PAIR consists of one demitasse cup "bread & butter" plate, all decorated in the "ROCK SPEEDWELL - VERONICA FRUTICANS." design. The pieces are done in thin walled bright white porcelain with rich color and fine detail to the floral decoration. The cup measures 2 �" high and 2 �" across the top rim, the saucer is 5 �" in diameter and the plate is 6 5/8". BOTH pieces are in excellent condition with no damage or noted wear. This charming trio would make a nice addition to any Porsgrund Mountain Flower Series china service or vintage Scandinavian porcelain collection
