Description

Potted Devils Backbone Plants & Cuttings of this plant, are for sale. This succulent is a common houseplant, but can also grow outdoors. When grown outdoors, the sun will change the outline of the leaf from white to pink/red, as shown in the 2nd picture and occasionally produces red flowers, as shown in the 3rd picture. The ones for sale are shown in the 4th picture Opt for a potting mix that includes perlite, to help with water drainage and air circulation around the roots. Water once per week. You can use root cuttings to produce new devil’s backbone plants. The entire propagation time—from taking a cutting to transplanting the new plant—will take about two months. Follow these steps to propagate a new plant: -Allow the cutting to dry. Let the cutting sit undisturbed on a windowsill or a counter for a few days so the cut end scabs over. -Dip the cut end in rooting hormone if you wish, before planting the cutting in a well-draining potting soil consisting of succulent mix and perlite. Allow the stem to develop a new root system before you attempt to transfer it to a new container. Devil's backbone, (Euphorbia tithymaloides), also called redbird flower, buck-thorn, cimora misha, christmas candle, fiddle flower, ipecacuahana, Jacob's ladder, Japanese poinsettia, Jew's slipper, Jewbush, milk-hedge, myrtle-leaved spurge, Padus-leaved clipper plant, red slipper spurge, redbird cactus, slipper flower, slipper plant, slipper spurge, timora misha, and zig-zag plant Many, many other varieties of plants available, which are For Sale, most to attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
