With the Croot Mips biking is simply fun. The combination of good fit, cool look and plenty of protection is the answer to the requirements of a versatile enduro helmet. The Croot Mips is also well ventilated, which allows it to be used in Enduro, Allmountain and Trial. Mips, which absorb rotational forces during falls, are integrated into the Run System. This allows a perfect adjustment of the helmet including height adjustment. The filigree design nestles perfectly to the head and thus increases the protection. With the Croot Mips every day on the trail becomes a good day. Features: - Enduro all-round helmet with a wide range of uses. - MIPS provides additional protection in the event of crashes with rotational motion. - Very light and at the same time very stable thanks to the inmold production process. - Extra-thin walls and narrow helmet shape with optimum protection thanks to HI-EPS. - Strategically arranged ventilation openings guarantee ideal air flow in the interior. Technology: 3D Fit: - The height of the Run-System at the back of the head can be adjusted using the 3D-Fit System. The helmet can be perfectly adapted to the head in a five-point gradation system. This improves comfort when wearing, safety and accuracy of fit. Airflow Venting: - One factor that greatly influences comfort when wearing is the ventilation of the helmet. The strategically sensible arrangement of the vents is crucial for optimum ventilation of the interior. The air is directed into the interior, guided around the head and can flow out again at the back. The head is therefore comfortably air-conditioned at all times. Ceramic Shell: - All Alpina helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic. Custom Fit: - Custom Fit is an adjustment system at the back of the head that allows you to adjust the height of the Run System in several steps. This allows the optimal fit of the helmet to be adjusted for a wide variety of head shapes. Pressure marks are a thing of the past, the helmet sits perfectly on the head and safety is improved. Edge Protect: - Edge Protect is an additional polycarbonate plate that give inmold helmets a touch of refinement. It covers the edges on the underside of the helmet. This protects the Hi-EPS and increases the helmet´s durability. Ergomatic: - Proven a hundred thousand times over and used on all Alpina helmets: the strap buckle with the red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically. Hi-EPS: - The inner shell of all Alpina helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes. Inmold: - In the inmould production process, the polycarbonate upper shell is thermally bonded to the Hi-EPS inner shell of the helmet body under intense heat and pressure. This creates a large and inseparable connection between the upper and lower shell. Advantage: The helmet is very light and at the same time extremely stable. MIPS: - MIPS provides additional protection against brain injuries that can be caused by rotational movements during an impact Run System Ergo Flex Mips: - The combination of Run System Ergo Flex and Mips offers many advantages: perfect adjustment including height adjustment, comfort and safety Y-Clip: - A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixing of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role. The Y-clip system ensures a millimetre-accurate adjustment - in a matter of seconds.
