2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser

I have a 2007 PT Cruiser for sale. My Aunt just bought this car maybe less than a year ago, and it’s been sitting because she says it cuts off when she tries to pick up speed. This car is very clean with low miles for a 2007. She’s 73 years young and knows NOTHING about this car. Maybe someone can come help her. It starts everytime I’ve tried it. I drove it from 38th to 25th street easily, but I did have to “slow roll” it a bit. Meaning only going less than 35 mph because she told me to. I did feel like it would cut off if I hit the gas too hard. Could be a speed sensor? It’s definitely not a transmission problem. These cars (from my understanding) can stop one thing if other things (sensors) aren’t right maybe? Someone can REALLY benefit off of this because we know nothing about cars. Could be simple. She only wants $800 firm. Our loss, your gain maybe?. You MIGHT have to trailer it, or you can possibly drive it home. She has ALL paperwork needed for anything.
