Description

5 DIGIT ODOMETER, TRUE MILES UNKNOWN. Ford LTD LX Was a 5.0 Fox Mustang GT Disguised as an Unassuming Grocery Hauler. As the LTD shared underpinnings with the Ford Mustang, all of the pretty pony’s (and some of the resurgent Thunderbird’s) performance bits were literal drop-ins from the factory: a four-link, coil-spring rear suspension, bigger 10-inch rear drum brakes were taken from the wagon, a quick 15:1 ratio for the rack-and-pinion steering, fatter anti-roll bars were bolted on front and rear with a posi rear end. Car and Driver called it "...a joy on high-speed interstates and a surprise on kinky back roads. Inside, the mandatory front buckets used the Mustang/Thunderbird’s inflatable lumbar support, pumped up via bulb. The driver had six-way power. Negotiable documentary service fee in an amount up to $200 may be added to the advertised price.
