Description

Added a new birddog to the string and upgrading to a larger van so this one’s (sadly) up for grabs. Van was purchased with 30K miles in 2007 from an older couple in Prineville, OR and lived the rest of the time in Portland. GTRV pop top was nearly $9K alone and installed in Vancouver, Canada in 2008. I’m 6’ and can easily stand in the van when the top is up, making for a comfy spot in the PNW rain. Currently has just under 140K on it, OR tags good until 12/25. No buildouts, as I wanted the space. Only modifications beyond the pop top are a towing package, and swivel passenger front seat that faces the rear bench seat. Middle row seating has been removed. 2” spacer lift to accommodate for larger Kumho Roadventure 215/75/15 AT 51 tires (Newish, with good tread). Also added a grooved vinyl mat that runs from just behind the front seats to the rear doors and can be removed for cleanup . Two Thermarests in the attic bedroom for a little more padding. Van is in decent shape for its age, was never offroaded and earned most of its miles on the highway and a few gravel ranch / river roads. Any work on the van was performed by either Paul’s Automotive or Ron’s Front End on Foster Road in Portland, both who retain the maintenance records (mine are buried somewhere in tax files). Cons: Rear heat not working (never did) and some of the pop top clear coat is now peeling (GTRV top is fiberglass and impossible to leak). Small dent in passenger side quarterpanel that was there when I bought it. Rear door gas arms are getting tired, but easily replaced. Regarding the GTRV pop top: No tears in canvas, and the window vents can be peeled down to allow for airflow. Gas arms are in excellent condition and will support a decent amount of weight when popped up having regularly had a 10’ raft strapped to the top during steelhead season. Please, no lowballers and I’ve got too many projects going for tire kicking. Research indicates this is a fair price for a rare van and slightly on the low end. If multiple interested parties surface, priority will be given in the order I was contacted. Also, if you insist on paying a metric ton of cash there’s a similar GTRV-modded AWD Astro with 170K on it in Vancouver Canada right now for $22.5K.
