Artist Series Baldwin Model M Ultra rare Mid Century Modern case. You will not find another one like it. This baby grand piano was rebuilt /refinished in 2011. This beautiful Baldwin was manufactured in 1959 which was a great year for Baldwin. According to many the Baldwin Model M is a nicer piano than the similarly sized Steinway Model S. It's a much nicer scale and built much better. This particular Model M is an ultra rare Mid Century Modern case. You won't find another like it. Notice the round tapered legs, lack of a fall board, the unique lyre, and the unique two piece lid. The previous owner let me know the rebuild was extensive and costly. She mentioned the piano got : new strings, hammers and hammer shanks, action pieces, tuning pins, plate redone. A similar piano would be nearly impossible to find. Steinway also made an ultra rare Mid Century Modern piano very similar to this one, also impossible to find. This piano is fully tuned and serviced . The soundboard and bridge are in mint condition.
