Bose 601 Series III Vintage Speakers • Restored • Tested!

These Bose 601's are 100% Functional, and are gorgeous! They have been tested professionally with a calibrated Frequency Sweep generator from 10Hz to 20Khz, the response was smooth through the audible range. All 4 Woofers were Re-Foamed with new surrounds, and all 8 tweeters were tested; all perfect. Cosmetically the condition of the Walnut veneer cabinets are incredible considering these were last made in 1994. Only a few small blemishes were found and touched up and are virtually undetectable. The Cabinets were then treated with premium Howard Beeswax/Orange Oil Wood Polish and Conditioner to preserve the finish, and bring out the natural grain. The condition of the Grills are excellent, no holes, tears or pulls, like new. Considered by many the Best, Bose 601 III speakers have what it takes to make home audio sound amazing. Rated for up to 200-watts into 8 ohms, they can handle most amps found in home audio systems. The Bose 601 III design features a 2-way crossover into 4 Tweeters and two 8” Woofers per Cabinet. The design of the 601’s really is amazing, The Sound is very spacious with energy seemingly coming from the entire wall behind the speakers. All while providing sharp clear highs, smooth mids, and low frequencies with no distortion. As the main speakers in a 5.1 Surround system, the Bose 601’s work well with other components. Although a floor-standing design, their fairly small size (30-inches tall by 12-inches wide by 12.5-inches deep) makes them suitable for just about any room.
