This is what I know about this: *My friends have moved, and this is one of the items they left behind for me to sell for them *The husband was an avid fisherman, and he very often upgraded his equipment, even when his current equipment was still good. *This is in the original box, and the box is sealed. It looks like it was taped with packing tape, so I do not think it is “new in box;” I think he just put it back in its original box and taped it shut. He has dementia now, so I can’t ask him and expect an accurate answer. *I do not have the means or knowledge how to test it to make sure it works. I would strongly encourage you to test it before purchase, because I sincerely do not know. The pickup location is at a house near downtown Woodstock.
