Antique Carved Leprechaun Oak Chair with detail Figure of Man with exaggerated expressions sitting on an oak barrel into chair back over a round flat plank seat upon splayed legs. (Note the monogram initials SBCo on the barrel). Measures 40″ Height, Round seat is 18″ diameter. Circa 1900. Made by Stomps – Burkhardt of Dayton Ohio. This Oak chair has been attributed to a Whiskey distillery advertising promotional of the carved leprechaun Shea Bocqueraz Company (SB Co. based in San Francisco logo on seat backrest) It has a watermark on seat and split seam on seat as seen in photos Asking $4500 one sold on eBay for $5080
