Description

This is a large 15,100 BTU window AC unit. I bought this unit new and used it for about 4 years to cool a space of around 800 square feet, including kitchen, dining area, living room and family room. It worked great for us to keep those rooms cool (see attached video). But I got central air and no longer need it. When I purchased the unit it cost around $450. Today, I see units of 14,000 BTU and up available at Lowes for $499 and up. It has a standard 115V electrical plug and requires 11.7 Amps, most of a typical house circuit. I believe it weighs close to 100 pounds. This unit has a remote, but I don't know if it still works (may just need a battery). The small tip of the pull tab that allows for fresh air broke off (it is a little inconvenient to grab it to pull it out, but pushing it in is not a problem). I didn’t use this feature much; it should only be a minor inconvenience. The pull tab is located near the top-left corner.
