I have been having my truck at Southern Dodge serviced for 10 years after my purchase from them. Never a problem before.
I recently scheduled an appointment one week ahead to make sure that there wouldn’t be any delays. This is a company vehicle and well needed. I brought the truck in on Thursday 10:00 as scheduled.  I immediately was told they didn’t have any service techs, but they would get to it soon.
On Friday I contacted and was told to text only for updates, so I did.  4 hours later I received a text that they still were trying to fine a free technician. By 3:00 I sent another text just trying to fine out if they got to me yet. Did not receive a text so I got a ride back into the dealership. I went in and the service writer said they still didn’t have a technician. I asked if they had a loaner or rental I could drive and was told no.  She was helpful calling Enterprise Rental for me.  On Monday afternoon I texted again and was told no technician still. On Tuesday same thing.  So I went back and picked up my truck still not repaired and a $300.00 fee I owed Enterprise rental. I asked to talk to the Service Manager and was told he wasn’t available, but they would have him call me.  It’s been 2 days now and still no call.  I found out that they have a new Service Manager that doesn’t have a clue what’s he’s doing.  I thought okay now I know what the problem is. I have never put a bad review in, but I’m trying to warn new customers…look out. I will never go to this dealership again.  And I was just talking to a sales representative about purchasing a new vehicle from them.  I’ll go somewhere else where the customer matters!

We worked with Justin and Katie throughout our entire trade-in and purchase process. From the test drives, to picking a vehicle, not liking it, returning to change it out for an upgraded version, and finalizing the paperwork; this was one of our better experiences at a dealership. Definitely recommend using Southern Auto Group.

I usually have little problems with the service department at this location. However, recently their communication and service has been very poor which is really disappointing. My car has been in for service for 3 weeks for a simple hose replacement.

When I spoke to an advisor, they told me I could drop my car off and a diagnostic would be able to be done in a few days. When I went to drop it off on the day that was discussed, I was then told by the office clerk (not so nicely) that they were booked for the next two weeks, but if someone canceled I would be able to take their spot.

I patiently waited two weeks without any updates because they said that’s how long it would take. I had to call after that in order to get an update on my car. After speaking to another advisor, receiving the diagnostic & cost, the next day, my total is almost doubled due to an extra job that they wanted to complete (which I later found out wasn’t necessarily needed) I was told the car would be ready by that afternoon. Sadly, they ghosted me after that: I called the same day, twice the next day & another time on the third day; the advisor was never in the office & did not call me back. On the 3rd day I decided to go to the dealership & the advisor tells me she told the mechanic to stop working on my car because they didn’t know how I was going to pay: although I was approved for their payment plan (which they would have known if they answered their phone).
We discussed payment & I opted out of the extra job, but the price was still over $100 more than what was originally given to me the first time. Now my car will not be ready for another few days.

This dealerships amazing from Emily who I spoke with on the phone about concerns I had  before going to the dealership to Kenrick my salesman who not only went above and beyond to get me in the right deal for me but also giving a full transparent walkthrough of every step. Finally the finance associate Katie who did such a amazing job helping create  custom package for the care and  time to make sure I was remaining at the same payment with all of the protection needed for my new car !! THIS DEALERSHIP IS AMAZING everyone of there employees were exuberant with professionalism and honesty and care I will definitely do more business with them and you should too !!!

Katie was great. While I did get a decent rate within what I was looking for, and 5 hours in office with an appointment, no numbers actually being shown to me until I was expected to sign paperwork for and I was overcharged by almost $400. Still waiting to hear about IF a refund has started processing over a week later.
