This is a very RARE model of the iconic Arri S/B 16mm Film Camera. Well maintained and functioning properly, tested with dummy film roll and motor runs well! *Please note although this camera has been tested with a dummy roll and functions as it should, it is NOT TESTED with film that has been sent to a lab and processed. Therefore I am selling this camera AS IS. NO RETURNS. I have a video where you can see the camera operating with the dummy roll loaded. But I can’t upload it to offer up. Three prime lenses to cover good focal range. Please also note that this listing is for the coveted S/B version. The "Arri S/B" (or SB) refers to the Arriflex 16S/B, a version of the Arriflex 16S camera that includes both the standard Arri S lens mount and the Arri Bayonet mount. So this particular model has two Arri standard mounts and one Arri bayonet mount. The bayonet mount is a later design intended for more secure lens attachment, particularly with larger zoom lenses. Having both mounts, gives you more lens options. With the Arri S/B you can use Zeiss Super Speeds Mk1 lenses. You can't do this with the Arri S This particular model was also modified to have your power supply connect straight to a male 4 PIN XLR outlet on the side of the camera, this is incredibly useful as you won't need a rare ARRI specific cable that would otherwise be plugged in to the bottom side of the camera in order to power the motor. These two prong cables are rare and expensive ($200 on Ebay) so being able to use readily available 4 PIN XLR cables is very useful. About This Camera: One of the most reliable 16mm camera ever produced. The Arri S/B is rugged, reliable, and perfect for handheld work. The pin-registered movement produces very steady images, typically more stable than the Bolex. The Arri S/B takes internal 100-foot daylight loads and has 400-foot magazine capability as well (can be bought seperately),180 degree shutter. This Listing Includes: 1x Arri S/B body Serial #18506 Body has a slight worn appearance, with plenty of blemishes, and wear and tear you would expect with a camera this age. It's used but well looked after. The viewfinder is bright and clear, however there is a noticeable yellow hue (see images) this does not effect operation in any way. 1x Arri Variable speed motor: Some paint chipping but still functioning and numbers can still be read. 1x 16mm 1:2 Schneider-Kreuznach Cinegon Serial number: (contact info removed) Arri standard mount condition: light cleaning marks, one blemish on the front element but overall glass is pretty clear, noticeable "schneideritis" inside lens (won't effect image quality) focus is smooth, iris is smooth. Functions and mounts well. 1x 25mm 1:1.4 Schneider-Kreuznach Cine-Xenon Serial Number: 1(contact info removed) Arri standard mount condition: cleaning marks, small blemishes on the front element and rear element. But overall pretty clear glass. focus is smooth, iris is smooth. Functions and mounts well. 1x 50mm 1:2 Schneider-Kreuznach Cine-Xenon Serial Number: (contact info removed) Arri standard mount condition: paint chipping, blemish on the front element. Back element is clear. focus is smooth, iris is smooth. Functions and mounts well. 1x Arriflex Camera Lens Hood Bellows. With filter attachment in rear. condition: Pretty worn, but no holes or light leaking tears visible. 1x TIFFEN 58mm 0.6 ND filter. Screws to the back of lens shade. Condition: Fine, some cleaning marks but filter is pretty clear, some paint chipping on the exterior. 1x 100ft Spool with test/dummy 16mm film roll attached 1x 100ft Empty spool 1x NEEWER 14.54 Volt battery 99W. Comes new with Box 1x 4 Pin XLR to D-tap power cable 1x 4 Pin XLR to 8V DC Power cable *Note camera tends to not run if these cables are placed or connected awkwardly. Could be an issue with the cables but nonetheless should be taken into account when purchasing. 8V is recommended as its gentler on the motor, however speeds are much slower and inconsistent when compared to being powered by the D-tap cable which would be outputting 14V which runs the camera fine.
