About two weeks later, while waiting for kayak racks to be delivered to put on our vehicle, we found I was pregnant with twins and it was a very high-risk pregnancy. So no kayaking for me. Took a couple of years to even get these into the water because, well, twins... My kayak has been in the water exactly twice, and it's apparent now that I won't be using a kayak unless it's more than a one-seater. My husband is keeping his for fishing.
