Lancashire turned wood chair with rush seat $350obo Vintage from the 19th century Materials: timber, wood, ash i believe, rush Appropriate signs of wear and use. Joints are loose and rush has seen better days but for an almost 200 year old chair it is worth saving. A unique 19th century Lancashire wood chair with a rush seat and wool winders protruding from the back rest with turned spindles. A rather unusual chair that could sit in the corner of the bedroom as a statement piece. Dating back to the 1800s it is in very good condition with signs of wear only natural to its age.
