Description
One of the last boats built by Hank Longton of Roseburg Oregon. Hank was a retired Navy welder, he would build only a handful of boats each year, most of which ended up in Alaska where Hank was known to spend his time fishing when he wasn't building boats. As legend has it Mike Lorenzen, founder of North River, built one of his first boats with Hank in his shop in Roseburg. This is a custom built 22' sled boat, mostly stored under cover, heavy duty. It has a 550 Chevy inboard engine and a 9.9 Yamaha kicker with the larger prop for more thrust. Some additions include 2 Scotty Down Riggers, and JRC Radar. The fish finder is a little out of date, there is a soft spot in the floor by one of the seats the upholstery is showing its 30 years of age. The throttle cable is due to be replaced, and it is due for an oil change. The engine and kicker were fully serviced in 2020, with new starter, carb, and batteries. New fuel filters installed at the beginning if. Summer 2023.
