This machine includes a compressor, so there's no need for bags of ice, rock salt, pre-freezing a bowl or any other fuss. Just add anything from store-bought ice cream mix to your own custard, gelato or sherbert mixes to quicky create tasty desserts. It makes almost 2 quarts in less than 30 minutes. It's even easy enough for kids to use on their own! The user's guide with many recipes is available as PDF, so you can make dessert tonight. The pictures include the first two pages of the user's manual, which describe this machine far better than I can. Includes the lid, dasher and original scoop/spatula for serving the ice cream. The case is yellowed like many applicances from this age, but it's tested and works perfectly.
