Description

Up for grabs is a 1967 Hofner 4600/V2 Verithin f-hole guitar in great condition. Both pickups were rewound by Curtis Novak a few years back, restoring them to their original glory, plus a Fralin Magic Cap was installed on the tone pot - giving it more tonal range and possibilities. Mike Cornwall (guitar tech for Blake Mills, Lucinda Williams etc) set up the guitar, and made her sing! She has Labella 11-50 Jazz Flats strings, for that classic woody vintage tone. She comes with the original deluxe plush 3-ply hard case. Some finish cracks on the body, but purely cosmetic - no structural issues whatsoever. The black plastic tremolo tip is broken but both pieces are still there and have a shrink wrap holding it together. Otherwise this 4600 V2 is perfect. The neck is straight and the frets are great. This guitar has had very little play time in her 50 years. This is a great sounding and beautiful vintage guitar. Made in Germany!
