Description

This beautiful 19th-century marquetry box features a classic rounded, bombe shape and is made of rich rosewood. The detailed inlay work showcases skilled craftsmanship. It includes a lock and a functional drawer, for which I have a key, and is perfect for storing valuables. It was used as a jewelry box, but can be repurposed as a tea caddy, cigar case, or even a writing box. Due to its age I am unable to trace where it was made, but it is likely of English or French origins. Length: 14” Width: 5” Height: 6” Delivery is available and all offers are considered!
