This vintage 1970's chinoiserie tansu style Asian nightstand or small storage chest cabinet is constructed of wood and has a Japanned black 'lacquer' finish with faux bois burl paneling or the top, sides, and drawer & door faces. It is raised on chow legs, embellished with etched brass mounts and features a medallion adorned two door cabinet at center and five red velvet lined drawers - four small upper and one large lower, each fitted with a gold tone butterfly handle.
