I’m so happy I decided to purchase a car with 1/2 price auto sales. They are honest and not pushy. Credit didn’t stop me from getting a car here, if you’re looking for a place that cares about their customers happiness then 1/2 Price Auto Sales is for you!

Update:  It has been 2 months and we have not received our license plates and the car had not been registered. Nick no longer works there, and our car registration had not been processed due to a change in staffing in admin. We are still waiting for an update.

Nick was very friendly and helpful in the beginning.  We had the car inspected and it needed some fluids , rotors, and filters changed and tire replacements on 2 tires. My husband and I chose to have those things done ourselves since they only want to fix a few things here and there,  and so we negotiated a price.  Unfortunately, on our way home (almost 3 hrs away), the Engine light on the vehicle came on.  I called Nick just to inform him of what happened and see if he will even respond. He didn't even bother to return my call.  I was disappointed.  He called me back 2 days later after he saw my review.  My disappointment stems from the Engine Light coming on just a couple of hours after driving the car off the lot, and more so that the call back took 2 days and was prompted by my review.  I informed Nick of the importance of a prompt callback before and after the sale as a sign of great customer service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I truly wish I had read all the reviews instead of just looking at the overall star rating. I started having issues the moment I left their dealership driving the car home—and these weren’t minor issues. They were major safety and risk-related problems, proving that the car was not properly maintained, inspected, or in the good condition they claimed when I purchased it.

At the time of purchase, I dealt with Nick, who is no longer with them, and they conveniently used his departure as an excuse to avoid responsibility for their faults. The dealership showed respect and clear communication only before they got paid. After that, everything changed—they failed to update me about the car’s paperwork, which they never processed at all.

I bought this car with the intention of having a safe and reliable vehicle for my family, but instead, the entire experience turned into a nightmare. If you’re looking for a car that will sit in your driveway because it’s unsafe to drive—or spend more time in a mechanic shop than on the road—this is the place for you.

Stay away from them at all costs.
