used about one year. upgraded no longer need. the modem is a net gear cm 1200 has 4 ports but only one works hence the router. however the ports do work but they are agregated ports wich i never knew how to set up so i got the router to make it easier. the router is a net gear ac1200 night hawk series these 2 combined can handle up to 1 gig internet speeds. does well for online gaming and streaming wich is what i used them for mostly. any questions feel free to ask. price alone if gotten on amazon or else where is around 120 give or take. used with optimum cable service but will also work with others.
