Tramp art IT WAS PAINTED LONG AGO DURING THE GREAT DEPRESSION BY "RAILROAD TRAIN HOBOS THAT WOULD RIDE THE TRAINS AND STOP ALL OVER AMERICA AND OFFER TO PAINT YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC HORN FOR A FREE MEAL OR FOR "ROOM AND BOARD" FOR THE NIGHT or would go to a shop that sold them and offer for a fee to paint the shops horns. There is an American Pickers episode where they find and talk about one of these. This item measures 23 inches across the wide mouth of the horn and 31 inches tall (with rubber part on the end) This item is estate fresh from a collection in northern Idaho. It has not been cleaned. Has some scratches to finish and a couple of dings and a couple small dents at end of horn panels. see pictures for details. This horn has 11 panels the ring for attaching it to a phonograph is intact. The cone is metallic red and the inside has flowers painted across the rim.
