Description
2005 pilgrim international 274RL 5SS 31 ft overall length Boon docking / Off Grid Ready Bought this trailer in 2023 and immediately started adding our personal touches to it. It an older fifth-wheel but it has good structure. The aluminum exterior i highly recommend as it doesn’t delaminate like the fiberglass siding. There was a previous leak before i purchased it in the front right corner but it doesn’t affect anything just can see little panel damage in that closet. Upgrades 2 new sky lights Resealed roof where needed Added 3 MaxxAir Vents to protect pop tops and be able to leave open while going down the road Upgraded all interior lights to LED Upgraded All exterior lights to LED ( Rear Tail Light Have not been Upgraded as I haven’t found what would look best to me) Replaced 95% of the weather stripping around the moldings of the camper and storage compartments New Awning New slide topper awning Brand New Tires in 2023 from America Tires With transferrable warranty Added a Receiver Hitch to the back to tow double or to add a better hitch rack Replaced the 120 to 12 volt converter Upgraded shower head Upgraded sink faucet Have a fresh water set up for two 5 gal jugs under the sink where it has a dedicated pump for fresh water to a fresh water faucet at the sink so you have drinking water no need to have cases of water Replaced the flooring in the main area Dual quick disconnect for propane for your flat top or gas grill at right front of trailer Black tank rinse kit Fridge works on propane or electric Hot water heater propane or electric Propane furnace heater Fresh air fan in bedroom Microwave 3 burner Stove and Oven Dual propane tanks For off grid / Boondocking I have 3 interstate group 27 batteries from costco for a total of 285 Amp Hours so 142.5 useable amp hours being they are lead acid batteries. I have had no issues with running out of battery power. I added a battery monitoring system By Renogy to make sure batteries have good charge I added a 2000 watt Renogy inverter to be able to run everything in the trailer ( Will Not run the AC and don’t recommend running larger Appliances) mainly used to charge phones, watch tv, coffee maker and any smaller appliances. I installed a watchdog hard wired surge protector to protect from fluctuating power when plugged into shore power I have 3 100 watt solar panels from costco that i just set out instead of mounting them to the roof in case your out u see a tree you can still run them out where the sun is at. Includes the solar controller I wanted to make it where you didn’t have to go outside to change from shore/generator power to the inverter so i put a switch where you can manually change from shore power to inverter power from inside and also turn on the inverter. It will not come with a mattress or any of the personal belongings. This fifth-wheel is ready to go. We use it At least every other month if not every month. It will be used until sold. We love this trailer but looking to upgrade to a motorhome as it would be better for our little family for traveling If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Its available if ad is posted so refrain from just asking if it available
