Bryan at Royalton Motors are very rude. Had my car 9 months now. It's time to renew my registration and they haven't even lifted the lien for my decal. No balance is owed and he gives me a letter to take to the tag agency, something anyone can type and sign. They would not take it because he has to send it electronically to the state. He tries to fast talk you like he did nothing wrong sayimg the lady is going to send it. Now I'm past due for my decal and still my tag is expired. I'm pissed 😡

I thought after seeing mostly five star reviews, I’d have at the bare minimum a functional,  to and from kind of car.I signed to finance a 2016 Ford Focus, I should’ve trusted my gut when the passenger door handle was missing, the locks didn’t work and the seat adjuster had wiring issues.  On top of that when the engine turns over you’re met with this god awful “race car sound”, I know enough about cars and it seemed off, but according to Gene @carrite/bluelagoon, that was normal as the car has a turbo….”right”.

So I trusted Gene and started with the $800 deposit, deducted from a 5 week payment plan to complete that $3k deposit and Segway into the finance payments.

I left the car there on 1.12.24 that same day because, well there’s no passenger door handle 🤦🏾‍♀️ 🤷🏾‍♀️.  Rear passengers literally can’t enter the car or exit,  unless they literally climbed out the window.  Let’s not forget I have to rush to start the car after manually opening the door with a key, or the alarm will blare.  You’d think I could get some new batteries for a fob, that’s preschool work for mechanical services, come on guys!

I left the vehicle there after signing and putting $800 down.  The car was “ready” roughly 2 weeks later, granted, there was loads to repair.  I have no clue why a car would be “just sitting” according to Gene.  The numerous interior issues  should’ve been up to par  beforehand, to sell to me and unknowing female.  Anyway…

I took an Uber to blue lagoon, and picked up the car.  The car was barely away from empty, cool I’ll fill my own tank up, sadly.  I got to the gas station filled the tank, and put extender fluid as told by Gene, because the engine or transmission sounded odd STILL.  I started the car, and it stalled, and stalled some more,  as well as white smoke emitting from it, oh I forgot to mention the car has always emitted this god awful fuel smell, sorry to the person ever driving behind that car in the future.

I was stuck at the gas station for a good 20-30 minutes and then the engine turned over.  I had a mechanic check the car out for me, and he said to me “well you’d never know if there’s engine or transmission issues because your indicator for that has been tampered or disconnected. The car also had to be hit front on because your hood doesn’t completely latch, as it was repaired poorly.”  Now if I’m on the highway and it flies up, I’m either dead meat on Florida’s turnpike/95 or badly injured, and totaled car.   I got home called the next day or so and the car was then picked up by Lagoon/carrite.

I Made my first payment besides my $800 of $440. As of now from January 12 2024-February 5th 2024 and counting, I still have no vehicle, no refund, and in my opinion since no owner of this blue/greenish cube of a “dealership” has yet to communicate with me personally. I assume they are purposely waiting for the 30days warranty to max out so they don’t have to assume responsibility.  It’s amazing how a company could be so cut throat and literally rob someone of their hard earned money, then leave them with no car for literally almost a month.  Now I have already paid almost $1000 for car insurance as well as an upcoming finance payment.

***Update 4/09/2024.Of course you cant know all that is wrong with a car, but you definitely knew that car had numerous issues, the auto seats didn't move, the door handle was missing, and the engine or transmission sounded god awful, and you lied and made it seem that it was a turbo.  Admit when you are wrong, because it is embarrassing.  That is exactly why you now owe me $800, because I already got my disputed $440 back.  Now hurry up and get that check to my finance company to buy back the garbage you tried to put off on me.  God don't like ugly, and he sure doesn't like liars that tamper with engine light indicator bulbs either.  An apology is the least you could do, I rejected another car because I wanted the car I chose, but ignorance is bliss.  I was denied a loner by the owner of your company which I will respectfully withhold. YOU ARE WRONG, give it up. Good lord
